Dear Gazzan Jan according to flora of Pakisan the name of this species is Phalaris arundinacea Linn., the old names or synomames are Arundo colorata Ait.Arundo riparia Salisb. Calamagrostis variegata With.Digraphis arundinacea (Linn.) Trin.. You see still our plant taxonomist are struggling for the right names of species. thanks
